March is Women's History Month! 5th grade classes are coming to the library to learn about the Women's Suffrage Movement. Students listened to read alouds of narrative nonfiction books: Elizabeth Takes a Stand by Tanya Lee Stone and Marching with Aunt Susan by Claire Rudolph Murphy.
Students will be asked to reflectively think about what it was like when women in the U.S. were not legally considered citizens and did not have the right to vote.
